R. Oguz Turkkan, Phd
The founder of ALGE ltd., Reha Oguz Turkkan is a former Professor of Experimental Psychology at Columbia University and CCNY University, Department of Psychology. Between 1960 and 1969 he established the huge number of 124 UNI-TEQ Education Centers and in 5 of these, he put Speed Reading Training. He has been the president of “Learning Foundations” which has been assigned by the renewal of educational techniques for 4 states by the United States Federal Government. He was the president of ‘Learning Materials Publishing’ company in the 1970’s.
Together with the most important contemporary psychologists, B. F. Skinner (Harvard University) and R. G. Crowder (UCLA), he developed ‘A Programmed Learning Technique’ method. Ffor his valuable work for the United States Education System and for being one of the co-founders of this technique, he was articled in WHO'S WHO’. He was assigned by the educational planning of 4 states, and worked as the educational technology consultant for Sunrise Open University.
In 2001, R. O. Turkkan founded ALGE ltd. which is mainly active in the field of Speed Reading. Under his administration, the company developed the TopReader software and still organizes and coordinates seminars, training courses and workshops in the subjects of Speed Reading, Effective Learning, Efficient Memory Techniques. |
